Dive Rite's EX35 primary flashlight ushers in a new era of power and efficiency for the most demanding technical dives. Utilizing the latest LED technology, push-button control and a high-efficiency head design, the EX35 boasts an impressive 4300 lumen output in a sleek, compact package.
This new spotlight designed from the ground up for maximum heat dissipation. The red anodized aluminum head effectively removes heat allowing the Cree XHP35 HI LED to be driven at 35 watts while increasing life and output. The CNC machined black Delrin outer shell adds unique visual contrast and rugged protection for the heat sink fins.
The small footprint, single-array LED combined with a soft reflector produces a 6-degree beam angle ideal for drilling through darkness or signaling a partner, while still providing a wide halo of light around the access point to illuminate the space around it. The airline-approved 150 Wh expedition battery container provides six hours of runtime at full power with a gradual taper, while maintaining a low-profile design. The battery cover is available with a straight cover or a 70-degree side-mount cover.
The EX35 primary flashlight is operated by a magnetic button located on the head, which eliminates the failure points associated with toggle or piezo switches. A simple user interface allows the diver to easily switch between five power modes on the fly to suit dive conditions. High power modes are ideal for large open caves with good visibility, while the diver can opt for a lower power mode in smaller areas or with reduced visibility, or for additional dive time. The EX35 also has a strobe mode for when you really need to get someone's attention.
An integrated microprocessor control unit constantly monitors battery temperature and voltage. Low battery is indicated by three flashes and automatically reduces power to increase run time, so you're never left in the dark unexpectedly.

Power Mode Lumens Output Operating Time
100% 4300 lumens 6 hours*.
50% 2150 lumens 12 hours
25% 1075 lumens 24 hours
5% 215 lumens 120 hours
1% 43 lumens 600+ hours
Stroboscopic 4300 lumens (10% duty cycle) 60 hours
*Note: Operating time in 100% power mode is: One hour of full power + five hours of gradual dimming. At six hours, the light flashes three times to indicate low battery and switches to 1% power mode to conserve power for up to 16 more hours before shutting off.
A rigid Goodman handle with QRM lock comes standard with the EX35 primary flashlight. The Goodman hand mount allows for quick removal of the flashlight from the diver's hand. Add a loop to the hand mount for even easier hand switching.
The EX35 primary flashlight is supplied complete in a protective Dive Rite EVA case for transport and storage.
